I believe in challenging folks to step up, work hard, and respect the horses they ride. I know that learning isn't always easy, but with a little grit and determination, you not only become better riders, you can discover your own strengths and perseverance.

With a strong foundation and a love for horsemanship, I’m confident teaching riders from beginner to intermediate and advanced levels.”

Music is another big part of who I am—I play clarinet, guitar, and love to sing. I also enjoy spending time outdoors, surrounded by God’s creation. At home, I’m the oldest of three with two younger brothers, and I help care for our two dogs and ten chickens.

I’ve recently spent time breaking and training colts in Del Norte, Colorado, learning how to earn their trust and bring out their potential. Before that I worked as a wrangler in Republic, Washington, leading trail rides and helping riders of all skill levels feel confident and comfortable in the saddle.
As an instructor, I focus on creating a relaxed and honest learning environment. I want riders to understand their horse, build confidence, and enjoy the process of learning—not just the outcome.name is Braydee Gilbert. I’m 18 years old and a freshman in college. I grew up riding and eventually found my focus in dressage, where I developed a strong appreciation for the connection, discipline, and communication it builds between horse and rider.
These days, I’ve traded the show ring for the peace of the trail and enjoy exploring the outdoors with my horses. As a riding instructor, I love working with students of all ages and helping them build confidence, skills, and a real bond with their horse.

I have had a passions for horses ever since I was little. I love building a bond with a horse and seeing their true beauty. Teaching people about horses and how to ride is something I find a lot of joy in. I love seeing someone be able to have a connection with such a gorgeous animal. I believe that horses are such a healing and comforting animal. I love seeing the interest in horses from people in any age. I love teaching the skill of horsemanship because it teaches you to have trust in the horse which is super important because if you trust the horse the horse will also trust you. Another reason why I love teaching is because growing up I was lucky enough to ride horses and I really want to share that same passion and experience with people who might not always have the opportunity to.

Raised in Montana, Allyson spent her childhood riding and learning at the barn with her sisters. Horse lessons and barn chores quickly became a source of joy and comfort. When she moved to Arizona, she continued to pursue her love of horses through equestrian vaulting lessons, and even became an instructor for kids with disabilities.

Allyson has always had a special bond with horses. Her instructor once said that her sensory awareness served her well, she was particularly “in tune” with the horses, sensing their moods and responding gently. For Allyson, horses haven’t just been a pastime - they’ve been a lifeline. Through times when her autism made things difficult, the barn and its horses helped her find calm, connection, and healing.
At Hayden Acres, Allyson brings compassion, patience, and a uniquely gentle understanding to every lesson. She believes that everyone , no matter their abilities, can find confidence, trust, and a little magic in the saddle.
