Frequently Asked Questions

We teach everything from the ground up. Meaning, we will teach students how to properly take care of the horses prior to riding, how to tack up, riding and take pride in tailoring each lesson to the individual and their goals. We also teach proper bathing, anatomy, basic first aid, amongst many other things. We feel this makes more well rounded riders and future horse owners. We teach both English and Western riding .

We do have a curriculum that keeps track of their progress. We award ribbons for completing each level, as well as other prizes.

We will adjust the lesson for the day based on weather. So no need to cancel, we can work on all the other unmounted parts of horsemanship, and start checking off those items on the curriculum,  so they can get closer to their next level. While riding is always the most fun, there is a significant amount of learning that happens on the ground whether it be anatomy, tack, bathing, training, showing basically, learning terminology  etc.

Please click on the waiver, fill it out and sign it. You will receive an email with login information. You can then go to Equineoffice.io to login, click book lesson, and you should be able to schedule a lesson.

You can use your email and login information at www.equineoffice.io to be able to book a lesson, change a current lesson, or cancel. Please keep in mind 24 hour cancellation policy. Even though the system will allow you to last minute cancel, it does alert us as to when cancellations happen.

Yes, we have a 24 hour cancellation policy.

While we are understanding of emergencies and extenuating circumstances, we do ask that you cancel prior to 24 hours before your lesson. Our instructors time is valuable. And they only come in for scheduled lessons. If you don't show up, or cancel last minute, this takes up an available time slot that someone else could have booked, and shorts the instructors their pay. For this reason, if lessons are not cancelled prior to 24 hours, you will be charged the full lesson price. Repeated no call/no shows will result in removal from scheduling ability. We appreciate your understanding.

We have students that start as young as 3 years old. However, it's more about ability to follow instruction to ensure safety, rather than age. We have students ranging from ages 3 to 90.
